Luxor from Marsa Alam individual

The one-day trip we propose starts with a drive from your hotel in Marsa Alam to Safaga to the police checkpoint, then the route to Luxor (departure from the hotel between 2.30 and 4.30 – the exact meeting time is given on the spot depending on the location of the hotel).

The journey takes from 5 to 7 hours depending on which hotel you depart from. The tour starts with the Temple of Karnak – here a Polish-speaking licensed guide joins you. 

Later, lunch (drinks additionally payable).

After lunch, visit the alabaster factory and visit the Valley of the Kings. Entrance to selected 3 tombs is included in the price of the tour. 

(Tutankhamun’s tomb for an additional fee).

Going further, we will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, and we will see the Colossi of Memnon. The Temple of Hatshepsut is a beautiful rock-hewn mortuary temple of the only female pharaoh. 

Return to the hotel around 23.00-1.00 (depending on the location of the hotel).

P.S 

1- You must bring your own breakfast and drinks on the tour. Luxor is a hot city and all the temples are in full sun – please bring hats and wear airy clothes.

2- Additionally, a mini cruise on the Nile to the Banana Island, paid for by volunteers, about USD 10 (people who do not buy this cruise wait on the bus for people participating in it).
