A trip to Abu Dabbab Beach, also known as the House of the Turtles
Meeting at the hotel reception in the morning between 7 and 8, depending on the location of the hotel.
Transfer by minibus to the most famous bay in the Marsa Alam area – Abu Dabbab, also known as the home of turtles.
Snorkeling in Abu Dabbab Bay under the care of a guide will be a great opportunity to watch sea turtles and admire the beautiful coral reef.
There are a lot of turtles in the bay. Tiny and big. You can see shoals of fish, moray eels, stingrays and reef sharks here. From time to time there are also dugongs called mermaids or sea cows. Dugongs are large mammals, adapted to aquatic life and unable to move on land. Adult individuals reach a length of about 3 meters, with a body weight of about 400 kg. They are herbivores, eating all day long and feeding on seagrass.
Umbrellas, wicker windbreaks, deckchairs and a toilet with a shower are at the disposal of the participants of the trip.
